    Tasks and responsibilities

    Industrial clerks, based on their training, are qualified to perform tasks in commercial, administrative, and organizational functions. Typical areas of work for industrial clerks include tasks in purchasing, material management, manufacturing planning, human resources, sales, customer service, accounting, and cost and results calculations.

    The job description ensures access to all advanced business training programs in addition to business qualifications for a wide variety of areas.

    The training

    The practical content is taught during the entire training period in the company. Theoretical training is obtained in block instruction courses at the corresponding vocational school. The duration of training is shortened at OL from 3 to 2 years.

    Tasks and responsibilities

    Mold mechanics specialized in the field of forming technology manufacture a wide variety of different kinds of injection molds for the production of technical plastic products. To accomplish this, individual components and technical systems are made of metal, e.g. by drilling, milling, grinding, filing, and lathing.

    It is necessary in this case to maintain the prescribed dimensions to a high level of precision because the tolerances are usually in the range of a few thousandths of a millimeter. The combination of components to form a functioning unit as well as the maintenance, repair, and modification of molds are an important part of this profession.
